Mokosh Grove

in the making…

Mokosh Grove is an ongoing project — a living, growing textile forest. It is an emmesive space in the process of growing.

Here fiber becomes foliage, threads turn into roots, and softness reclaims the hard edges of the world. Plastic shapeships into creatures with ice like swirl of their bodies.

This installation is a meditation on the return of the wild. On a world where nature takes over once again. It’s a tribute to Mokosh, the Slavic goddess of Earth, moisture, and fertility — the keeper of life and death. In her grove, the artificial and organic intertwine. The woven becomes alive.
